Living Beyond Breast Cancer

“Living Beyond Breast Cancer is a national nonprofit organization that seeks to create a world that understands there is more than one way to have breast cancer. To fulfill our mission of providing trusted information and a community of support, we offer on-demand emotional, practical, and evidence-based content that is meaningful to those newly diagnosed, in treatment, post-treatment, and living with metastatic disease.”

Side Out Foundation

“With individualized treatment, Side-Out Foundation helps metastatic breast cancer patients spend more time with loved ones. For 10 years, they have researched what makes each tumor unique so they can improve cancer care for every patient. Side Out does not just fund research - they do research. They work to understand the molecular makeup of every metastatic breast cancer tumor we biopsy. From there, they analyze the treatments and trials that can substantially improve the length and quality of life of each patient. ”

METAvivor

“METAvivor is dedicated to the specific fight of women and men living with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. At the time of METAvivor’s founding, no organization was dedicated to funding research for the disease and no patient groups were speaking out about the dearth of stage 4 cancer research. While more and more people have taken up the cry for more stage 4 research, METAvivor remains the sole US organization dedicated to awarding annual stage 4 breast cancer research.”

Young Survivor Coalition

“Young Survival Coalition (YSC) strengthens the community, addresses the unique needs, amplifies the voice and improves the quality of life of young adults affected by breast cancer, locally, nationally and internationally.”

Breast Cancer Resource Center of Texas

“Breast Cancer Resource Center (BCRC) is a community-based non-profit serving Central Texans since 1995. Strengthened by our mission to empower those affected by breast cancer with personalized support and compassion and in collaboration with our community partners, BCRC envisions a future where no one faces breast cancer alone.”

The Pink Lemonade Project of Oregon and Washington

“Pink Lemonade Project, formed in 2010 by Drs. Allen and Cassie Gabriel. Our mission is to educate, empower and support all communities affected by breast cancer in Oregon and SW Washington. Our programs and services offer emotional, educational, financial, and psychological support and for patients, families, and caregivers.”

The Breasties

“The Breasties is the first all-inclusive nonprofit organization that creates community for survivors, previvors, stage 4 thrivers, and caregivers impacted by breast and gynecologic cancers.

We’re on a mission to support and improve the experiences of the cancer community through peer-to-peer connection, resources, and advocacy.”
