Metastatic Breast Cancer affects women in the United States, Brazil, and in every other country. Unfortunately, access to life-saving and life-extending innovatice therapies for #MBC is more limited in other countries and most countries outside of the US cannot afford to do genetic testing on #MBC.

In 2021, the challenge of incorporating new drugs for breast cancer in Brazil was discussed in a study published in the PubMedCentral. Despite their inability to use genetic testing tools to determine what targeted treatments to use to combat each patient's particular form of breast cancer, these doctors have found multi-disciplinary processes to overcome this obstacle so that their patients have a fighting chance to #ThriveNotJustSurvive.
